The existing project covers an area of 3061.99m2, with a construction area of 2400m2. The total project investment is $1.2 million. The annual output of mixed feed is 176,500 tons/year.

There are 30 employees, all of whom have room and board in the factory. The existing project is equipped with a liquefied petroleum gas-fired boiler, which works 300 days a year and operates 8 hours a day.

Chicken feed pellet process flow

The pelleting process used in chicken feed is as follows:

  1. Purchase raw materials and put them into warehouse:
    Stack the purchased raw materials in the raw material warehouse, and store the corn in the cylindrical warehouse;
  2. Crushing:
    The material is transported to the pulverizer for feeding. The feeding port is semi-closed. There is an exhaust device above the feeding process. The feeding dust is collected by the exhaust and then enters the bag dust collector for processing.
    The crushing process is fully enclosed, and the raw materials are broken into suitable sizes by a crusher for processing; there is a ventilation port inside the crusher, and its main function is to balance the air pressure in the crusher. A bag dust collector is installed at the ventilation port. The collected dust is reused in production;
  3. Mixing:
    The crushed raw materials are mixed in proportion through a closed pipe and then transported to the mixer for mixing and mixing; there is an exhaust device above the feed port of the mixer, and the feed dust is collected by the exhaust and then enters the bag dust collector for processing.
    The mixing process is fully enclosed. There is a ventilation port in the mixer. Its main function is to balance the air pressure in the mixer. A bag dust collector is installed at the ventilation port to reuse the collected dust for production;
  4. Granulation:
    The stirred raw materials are transported to the chicken feed pelletizer through a closed pipeline. The boiler uses natural gas as fuel to provide steam. The raw materials are heated and matured into granules. The aging time is about 30 minutes;
  5. Cooling:
    The granulated feed is air-cooled through the cooling tower equipped with the chicken animal feed granulator;
  6. Sewing packages:
    Use a sewing machine to sew the cooled feed products into packages for easy storage and transportation;
  7. Departure from the factory:
    Use trucks to transport the feed out of the factory area.

Fish feed production process flow

    The raw materials are transported to the floating fish feed machine through closed pipelines. The boiler uses natural gas as fuel to provide steam, and the raw materials are processed at high temperature (90-95°C). The raw materials are cooked for a period of time under high temperature, high humidity, and high pressure.
    During this process, the raw materials The physical and chemical properties undergo drastic changes (mainly starch gelatinization and protein denaturation).
    The moisture in the feed is converted from liquid to gaseous state, and is emitted from the feed, causing the material to expand, forming expanded feed, which is then cut into uniform pieces by the cutter of the fish pellet extruder. The granular form is sent to the next process for drying.
  5. Drying:
    Extruded feed contains a certain amount of moisture (25-30%), and excess moisture must be removed through a dryer attached to the fish food extruder to control the moisture content at about 13%. During the drying process, steam is provided through the boiler to heat and dry the moisture.
  6. Oil injection:
    The dried feed enters the oil injection machine of the extruder through a closed pipe, and soybean oil is added and stirred evenly so that the oil is evenly sprayed on the surface of the feed, which can improve the palatability of the feed and reduce the powder content.
  7. Cooling:
    The pellet feed is cooled under natural ventilation.
  8. Finished products:
    After passing the inspection, they will be packaged by a baler and put into storage for sale.
