The animal feed processing plant in Cote d'Ivoire project covers an area of 14,760.45 square meters. The project is designed with two feed production lines (one livestock and poultry feed production line and one ruminant feed production line).
At the same time, the raw material workshop, production workshop, comprehensive building, finished product workshop, and crusher, mixer, granulator and other related equipment are built. After the project is completed and put into operation, it can produce 120,000 tons of feed per year.
The labor quota of this project is 40 people, 10 of whom are sales staff who do not eat and stay in the factory area, 30 people work in the factory area, 5 of whom eat and stay in the factory, and the others are all surrounding villagers who eat and do not stay in the factory area; the project produces 300 days a year, and implements a 2-shift system, each shift is 8 hours.

The animal feed processing plant in Cote d'Ivoire project covers an area of about 14,760.45 m2 (22 mu), and is equipped with raw material workshops, production workshops, finished product workshops, comprehensive buildings and other ancillary facilities.
It will purchase and install related production equipment such as feeders, crushers, mixers, pelletizers, and ancillary equipment and facilities such as natural gas boilers, and build two feed production lines (one livestock and poultry feed processing line and one ruminant feed processing line). The process flow during the operation period of this animal feed processing plant in Cote d'Ivoire project is as follows. The processes of the two production lines of the project are basically the same, only the production equipment is different, and the process is briefly described together:
The raw materials required for the production of this project are divided into powdered and granular raw materials, among which powdered raw materials (raw materials that do not need to be crushed) such as soybean meal, bran, etc., granular raw materials such as corn, wheat and other materials, meal materials (soybean meal, bran) and granular materials (corn) are stored in three-dimensional cylindrical silos after purchase; powder materials (vitamins, amino acids, minerals, etc.) are bagged raw materials, and the powder materials are temporarily stored in the raw material warehouse after purchase.
Soybean meal, rapeseed meal, corn, wheat and other raw materials are screened by the primary screening screen and magnetically separated by the permanent magnetic cylinder before being crushed.
The primary screening screen is mainly used to remove impurities such as sand, gravel, plastic, etc. in the raw materials, and the magnetic separation is mainly used to remove some magnetic impurities in the raw materials to protect the safety of equipment and feed.
Various powdered raw materials that do not need to be crushed are lifted to the sub-bin at the top of the batching bin group through the automatic batching system, and finally distributed to the corresponding batching bin.
There is one feeding port for the ruminant feed line and two feeding ports for livestock and poultry. After feeding, they pass through the elevator to enter the crushing bin or batching bin respectively.
The animal feed processing plant in Cote d'Ivoire project is equipped with one ruminant crusher and two livestock and poultry crushers. After the granular material enters the crushing bin, it is controlled by the pneumatic gate to enter the impeller feeder for uniform feeding and enter the crusher for crushing.
The crushing fineness is determined by the screen. When the specified fineness is reached, a screen break detection device (reserved) is configured after crushing to detect the screen breakage in real time, ensure product quality, and improve production efficiency. The crushed fine material is sent to the elevator, and after being lifted, it is guided by the specified distributor and enters the specified batching bin.
The ruminant feed line of this animal feed processing plant in Cote d'Ivoire project is equipped with 1 batching system, 4 cubic mixers, 21 batching bins, of which 3 grass powder bins are reserved. Two batching scales of different sizes are set up, and one grass powder scale is reserved. After mixing, it goes to the pelleting bin or finished product bin through the elevator.
The livestock and poultry feed line of this animal feed processing plant in Cote d'Ivoire project is equipped with 1 batching system, 4 cubic mixers, 28 batching bins, and a batching system of large, medium and small scales, which is suitable for production with complex raw materials and formulas.
After mixing, it goes to the pelleting bin or finished product bin through the elevator. After the raw materials that reach the specified fineness enter the batching bin of the set bin number through a special distributor, the central control room personnel strictly input the formula data specified in the formula requirements into the computer.
The weight of the raw materials is used by the computer automatic batching program to start the bin machine and transport it to the large and small weighing buckets to achieve automatic batching. Feed additives are automatically weighed by the weighing bucket weighing sensor connected to the computer and enter the mixer through the weighing door. If there is a need to add grease, the computer automatically controls the grease addition system.
The material enters the pelleting bin and is fully tempered by saturated steam from three animal feed pellet machines before pelleting. Two SZLH535×190 and one SZLH420×140 are used for pig feed, poultry feed and ruminant feed respectively. To produce different types of feed, different particle sizes are required.
The corresponding pellet ring dies must be replaced to produce different high-quality feeds, which are cooled by the countercurrent cooler through the fan. After reaching room temperature and reducing moisture, the cooler automatically discharges the material according to time or the position of the pellets, and determines whether to use the pelletizer for pelleting based on breeding habits and actual production. The finished products are sent to the finished product bin after the pellets are graded to meet the specified requirements.
According to the different specifications of livestock and poultry feed and ruminant feed, the finished products are filled into woven bags through the packaging system, and then sent to the sewing machine for sealing. The packaging system adopts domestic advanced technology, and the woven bag mouth and the discharge port are precisely combined, which effectively prevents the loss of materials during the packaging process.

The steam of this animal feed processing plant in Cote d'Ivoire project is finally evaporated and consumed after entering the product. No production wastewater is generated during the production process. The wastewater mainly includes natural gas boiler wastewater, domestic sewage, laboratory instrument cleaning wastewater and laboratory waste liquid.
The natural gas boiler wastewater is collected and precipitated and then reused for watering the green land in the factory area, and is not discharged.
After domestic sewage and laboratory instrument cleaning wastewater are treated by septic tanks and integrated sewage treatment facilities to meet the standard limit requirements, they are temporarily stored in the reuse water pool on rainy days and reused for watering roads and greening in the factory area on sunny days, and are not discharged.
Laboratory waste liquid is collected in waste liquid collection barrels and temporarily stored in the hazardous waste room, and is entrusted to qualified units for transportation and disposal.
This animal feed processing plant in Cote d'Ivoire project uses two natural gas boilers with a rated evaporation capacity of 2t/h, and the water consumption for steam preparation is 4m³/h. The boiler runs for 12 hours a day, works 300 days a year, and works 3600 hours a year. The soft water consumption for steam preparation is 48m³/d, 14400m³/a.
According to the calculation, the steam condensate return volume is 14.4m³/d, 4320m³/a, and the soft water entering the boiler is 33.6m³/d, 10080m³/a; the steam loss is 27.12m³/d, 8136m³/a; the product volume is 6.48m³/d, 1944m³/a. Provide steam for the pelleting process of the compound feed production line.
The annual consumption of natural gas fuel in this project is about 1.0872 million m³. The boiler wastewater includes boiler sewage and softening wastewater, with a production volume of 1474.24 m³/a and 4.91 m³/d, and the raw water consumption is 38.51 m³/d and 11553 m³/a. No chemicals are added to the boiler sewage and softening wastewater, and they are not polluted. The boiler wastewater is collected and precipitated in the collection pool and reused for plant greening and road sprinkling and dust reduction, and is not discharged.
There is one boiler wastewater collection pool with a volume of 8m³ and one stainless steel water storage tank with a volume of 5m³, which is used to temporarily store the prepared soft water. The boiler wastewater is collected and precipitated in the collection pool and reused for plant greening, and is not discharged.
The total labor quota of this animal feed processing plant in Cote d'Ivoire project is 30 people, of which 5 people eat and stay in the factory, and the others are all villagers from the surrounding area, who eat in the factory but do not stay. The living water consumption of employees is calculated as 100L/d/person, and the living water consumption of employees who only eat but do not stay is calculated as 50L/d/person. The daily living water consumption of the project is 1.75m³/d, and the annual water consumption is 525m³/a.
The domestic wastewater is calculated as 80% of the water consumption, and the domestic sewage volume is 1.4m³/d, 420m³/a. Among them, the canteen wastewater enters the grease trap (1m³) for pretreatment, and then enters the septic tank (5m³) for treatment with other domestic sewage. It is temporarily stored in the reuse water tank (10m³) and reused for greening and fertilizing in the factory area, and is not discharged.
The laboratory of this animal feed processing plant in Cote d'Ivoire project is mainly for product ingredient testing, mainly testing the content of water, protein, fat, crude fiber and other substances. Laboratory water refers to the water used for cleaning laboratory instruments and equipment. The water consumption of the laboratory is 0.2m³/d, 60m³/a.
The wastewater from cleaning laboratory instruments is calculated as 90% of the water consumption, and the amount of cleaning wastewater is 0.18m³/d, 54m³/a. The wastewater from cleaning laboratory instruments enters the septic tank for pretreatment, and enters the integrated sewage treatment facility together with other domestic sewage.
After being treated to the standard, it is temporarily stored in the reuse water pool on rainy days and reused for road sprinkling and greening in the factory on sunny days, and is not discharged.
According to the scale and construction and development characteristics of the plant, in accordance with the layout principles of environmental protection, greening, labor hygiene and land development and utilization, the overall layout of the plant is arranged according to the characteristics of the plot.
In combination with the customer's requirements and terrain characteristics, RICHI planned the structure and layout of the entire plant for the project:
The office area is one step, the production area is two steps, the project site is low in the southwest and high in the northeast, so the vertical design divides the plant buildings from east to west into three platforms on the premise of meeting the production use and truck traffic requirements. The 0.00 elevation of each platform building is 1727.7, 1729.2 (1732.7, 1734.3), and 1740.05, respectively. Retaining walls are set at the required positions between each platform.
The animal feed processing plant in Cote d'Ivoire project area has 2 entrances and exits, and an entrance and exit is set in the office and living area on the east side of the project area, which is mainly for personnel access; a production area entrance and exit is set on the west side of the project area, which is connected to the external highway and the factory road, and is mainly for the transportation of raw materials and products.
The factory is mainly divided into two major areas according to its functions, the production area and the office and living area. According to the elevation difference of the terrain, the office and living area is set as a step with an elevation of +1740.05m.
As the office area of the enterprise, this area is the main place for activities such as the factory area, logistics, and employee office; the production area is set as two steps, and the raw and auxiliary material area, production area, and finished product area are arranged from east to west.
The terrain is from high to low (+1734.3m-+1727.7m), which is convenient for transportation within the project area on the one hand, and for the transportation of raw and auxiliary materials in the production process on the other hand.
The functional zoning is reasonable, the flow of people and vehicles is clear, and the fire protection requirements are met. In combination with the standards of the health industry, public security, disinfection, and epidemic prevention facilities are set up, and green belts are set up around the factory area.
The project has a reasonable plane layout, clear functional zoning, compact overall layout of each area, and supporting auxiliary areas are in place, which can meet the production and living needs.
