How does counter flow cooler work? RICHI counter flow cooler is a new type of cooler popular in the world. It uses the principle of counter current cooling to cool high temperature and high humidity pellets, that is, the ambient cold air passes vertically through the layer, first with the cold phase.
The hot air heated in contact with the hot material and the direction of the wind flow is opposite to the direction of the flow. Counter flow cooler mainly composed of rotary closed air feeder, air outlet top cover, rhomboid bulk material, cooling box body, upper and lower level positioner, deceleration brake motor, eccentric transmission spool-type discharge mechanism, fixed the frame adjusting device, the collecting hopper, the frame, and then composed of the same suction system.
Which is discharged from the pellet machine and is uniformly stacked in a cooling box through a rotary conical bulker. And the cold air is slide-type from the lower side of the cooling box. The bottom of the discharge mechanism and the upper part of the collecting hopper enter the cooler in all directions. Pass through the material layer to exchange heat with the moist heat particles, and then suck out through the suction system. So that the pellets can cool.
SKLN Series Counter Flow Cooler mainly used for the cooling of feed pellets in the pelletization section of large and medium-sized feed mills. The pellet feed from the feed pellet machine up to 80-90℃and the moisture content of 17-18% cooled to a temperature slightly higher than room temperature. Up to 12% to 13% for easy transportation and storage. In addition to animal feed produciton lines, the counterflow pellet cooler can also be used in wood pellet produciton lines, biomass pellet produciton lines, organic fertilizer produciton lines, cat litter pellet plants, waste tire pellet plants, etc.
The pellet cooling system is an extremely important part of the pellet production process, which directly affects the cooling dehumidification effect of the pellets and the quality indicators of the products, such as moisture and chalking rate.
Counter flow cooler is the most advanced pellet feed cooling technology in the world. It is a new generation of cooling equipment developed for the cooling of high-temperature pellet feed after pelletization. Adopting the principle of counter flow cooling, the pellets fully cooled, and the machine adopts a unique sliding valve mechanism to discharge materials, and the operation and discharge are smooth.
The counterflow pellet cooler machine uses the principle of counter flow cooling to cool the high-temperature and high-humidity pellets, avoiding the sudden contact between the cold air and the hot material, thus preventing the surface cracking of the pellets. At the same time, the cooling effect is remarkable due to the use of a gas trap and a large inlet area. It also adopts a slide valve type or pendulum type discharge mechanism, which is stable, reliable and has few residuals.
SKLN series counter-flow cooler adopts reasonable cooling principle and is developed by digesting and absorbing international advanced technology. It is composed of feeding section, shell support and discharge door mechanism.
The counter flow cooler machine body has a large capacity, and it can be adapted to different output (within the specified range) requirements only by changing the position of the material leveler. The discharging mechanism adopts pneumatic or electric power without vibration.

The cooling chamber of the counter flow cooler machine adopts cone-shaped web plate, and there are 6-8 cooling areas evenly distributed according to different models, so that the materials can be distributed in each cooling area. The cooling speed of the material is fast and the effect is good, thus ensuring the final high quality of the counterflow pellet cooler.
