The client of this organic fertilizer factory in Argentina project, an Argentine agricultural company, has a standardized fully automatic chicken farm with 800,000 laying hens, and is expected to produce about 42,355 tons of chicken manure (water content 70%).
Chicken manure is a serious source of pollution, but it is also a valuable resource that needs to be used urgently. Chicken manure is rich in organic matter, contains high N, P, K and trace elements, and is a good raw material for organic fertilizer.
The organic matter content of dry chicken manure is 50%, nitrogen 3.2%, phosphorus (measured in P2O5) 3.1%, potassium (measured in K2O) 2.4%, rich in nutrients, and contains a lot of protein. It is currently the best fertilizer raw material in feces. Reasonable return of feces to arable land can not only save environmental protection investment, but also increase soil fertility and increase the yield of agricultural products.
Based on this background, the project customer invested in a chicken manure organic fertilizer pellet production line. All the chicken manure produced by the chicken farm is used as raw material for this organic fertilizer factory, and the annual output of organic fertilizer is expected to be 60,000 tons.
After the organic fertilizer plant is completed and put into operation, it can not only eliminate the impact of odorous gases on farmers near the farm, but also solve the problem of chicken manure disposal in the chicken farm.

After the chicken manure organic fertilizer factory in Argentina project is completed and put into operation, it will use fully automatic production equipment, so only 8 employees are needed (including 4 car drivers, 4 front-line production workers, and the rest of the logistics management and sales staff will work part-time in the chicken farming company), 2 shifts per day, and 365 working days per year.
Because the fermentation equipment is relatively advanced, workers only need to set up the equipment every day, and the operators can leave, so the project staff do not eat and stay in the factory.
Power supply
The power supply for this chicken manure organic fertilizer factory in Argentina project is provided by the local power grid. The 380/220V low-voltage distribution line is connected to the electric poles in the site and enters the various power-using places in the site.
Ventilation
The fermentation workshop is equipped with exhaust fans for ventilation to improve the working environment.

The overall layout of the chicken manure organic fertilizer factory in Argentina project adopts a reasonable layout and overall arrangement.
While saving land, meeting fire protection, environmental protection, internal and external transportation and current production needs, it comprehensively considers the possibility of future expansion and transformation.
The project construction site is in a mountainous environment, with the west side of the site boundary close to the factory road; the left side of the entrance is the guard room; the right side is the third raw material warehouse; the factory area is set up from north to south as the raw material warehouse, fermentation workshop and finished product warehouse.
Dry toilets and odor treatment systems are set up on the easternmost (close to) hillside of the factory area; there are no office areas and employee living areas in the factory area, all of which are production plant areas; the project is surrounded by hillside wasteland.
The site has an internal ring road, and the main road is a 4m wide lane. Grass and evergreen trees are planted along the road, and fire passages are left between each building.
The overall layout of the project has clear functional divisions, smooth process flow, short logistics, and no cross-interference between people and logistics. From an environmental protection perspective, its plane layout is reasonable.
Since the moisture content of fresh chicken manure in this chicken manure organic fertilizer factory in Argentina project is about 70%, it is not suitable for direct biological fermentation (the optimal moisture content of fermentation is 55-65%, and the fermentation moisture content of this project is 60%), so pretreatment must be carried out to adjust the moisture content of the raw materials to the optimal moisture content.
The chicken manure required for this project is sent from the raw material workshop to the fermentation tank of the organic fertilizer workshop by a special agricultural vehicle for fermentation. The fermentation tank consists of a batching area and a fermentation area.
The chicken manure is first batched in the batching area through a biological conditioning system. 30% bran powder or straw and 10% bacteria are added to each ton of chicken manure (moisture content is 60%).
The fermentation bacteria are added to the pre-treated chicken manure for fermentation. The chicken manure is pushed to the fermentation area of the fermentation tank by the automatic fermentation machine for aerobic fermentation and harmless treatment.
It is turned over twice a day, and the chicken manure is pushed forward about 3 meters a day. The fermentation time is 21 days, and the fermentation temperature is 55-65℃. The fermentation process is strictly carried out in accordance with the biological fermentation process for livestock and poultry manure.
The moisture content of the fermented chicken manure is about 30%, which does not meet the organic fertilizer standard of ≤14% (the moisture content of the organic fertilizer produced in this project is 10%), so it must be dried, and the temperature is naturally reduced while drying.
Note: The organic fertilizer production process of this chicken manure organic fertilizer factory in Argentina project does not involve drying. The fermentation process must be carried out in the fermentation tank.
The fermentation tank and fermentation greenhouse workshop must be built. The fermentation process is strictly carried out in accordance with the biological fermentation process for livestock and poultry manure.
The organic fertilizer after natural drying is sent to the organic fertilizer processing room by the conveyor for crushing and granulation. After reaching the product specifications, it is packaged and stored in the warehouse and sold.
Based on the production process of the chicken manure organic fertilizer factory in Argentina project and the raw and auxiliary materials used, the transformation relationship, quantity and form of materials in production are analyzed to understand the generation and emission of pollutants in the production process.
