This is a small capacity organic fertilizer processing project, which is located in the UK. The project mainly uses livestock and poultry manure as the main raw material, using fermentation and turning processes, without configuring ingredient mixing, granulation and other processes. The customer has his own farm, and the products processed by the project are partly for himself and partly sold to surrounding farms.

The small scale fertilizer plant in U.K. project covers an area of 1333.6m2, and the construction content includes composting greenhouses and related supporting facilities and environmental protection facilities. After the project is completed, there will be 3 employees, none of whom will have food and accommodation in the factory area. The number of production shifts is 1 shift, each shift is 8 hours, and the annual production days are 300 days.

UK 1 t/h small scale fertilizer plant Process design

  1. Feeding
    Put the purchased heterotopic fermentation mattress material into the fermentation tank.
  2. Turning
    Use a turning machine to mix the microbial agent with the heterotopic fermentation mattress material in proportion and turn it. The moisture content of the mattress material is about 60%. A small amount of dust will be generated during the turning process.
  3. Fermentation
    After turning, the heterotopic fermentation mattress material is fermented in the fermentation tank. This process will produce a small amount of water vapor. Since biological deodorization has been used in the turning process, the project only produces a small amount of odor.
  4. Loading
    Load the fermented heterotopic fermentation mattress material organic fertilizer into a truck. This process will generate a small amount of dust.
  5. Closed transportation
    The loaded heterotopic fermentation mattress material organic fertilizer is transported using a closed transport truck.

Water supply

The water supply for this small scale fertilizer plant in U.K. project comes from the local water supply network.

①Production water

The production water for this project is mainly fermentation water.

During the fermentation process of this project, the mattress material needs to maintain a moisture content of 60%. When the moisture content is lower than 60%, a small amount of water is added to keep the moisture content of the mattress material. The fermentation water consumption is about 6t/a.

②Domestic water

The organic fertilizer production line project has a total of 3 employees, working 300 days a year, and none of them eat or stay in the factory. The project's domestic water consumption is 0.15t/d (45t/a), the sewage coefficient is 0.8, and the wastewater discharge is 0.12m3/d (36m3/a).

Drainage

The small scale fertilizer plant in U.K. project's fermentation water is completely evaporated during the fermentation process, and the domestic sewage is treated in a septic tank and used for irrigation of surrounding farmland.

Power supply

Provided by the municipal power grid.
