OVERVIEW

The client of this project is a Turkish biotechnology company, established on June 15, 2022, and is a company specializing in feed processing.

In order to adapt to the increasing market demand for plant protein feed and promote the sustainable development of agriculture and breeding, the client company invested 1.1 million US dollars to build an annual output of 80,000 tons of extruded protein feed project using the existing factory buildings, comprehensive buildings, distribution rooms and other building areas of 5500.0m2.

According to the full plant layout designed by RICHI for customers, the middle of the project is the production workshop and finished product warehouse, the north side from west to east is the solid waste warehouse, comprehensive building, grain unloading pit, silo, and the southwest side is the distribution room and boiler room.

Process flow of extruded soybean production line In Turkey

  1. Unloading:
    Purchased bulk soybeans are directly unloaded to the grain receiving pit by dump trucks. During the unloading process, soybeans contain certain impurities, and there is friction and collision between soybeans.
  2. Screening:
    The elevator lifts the soybeans unloaded to the grain receiving pit to the specific gravity screen, and the specific gravity screen is used to screen out dirt, stones and other debris in the soybeans.
  3. Storage:
    The screened soybeans are lifted by the elevator to the scraper conveyor, and then the scraper conveyor is sealed and transported to the silo.
  4. Magnetic separation:
    The soybeans unloaded from the silo unloading port are lifted by the elevator to the scraper conveyor, and then the scraper conveyor is sealed and transported to the high-strength permanent magnetic cylinder in the production workshop, and the high-strength permanent magnetic cylinder removes iron impurities in the soybeans.
  5. Drying and sterilization:
    The soybeans after magnetic separation and iron removal enter the microwave drying and sterilization machine through the pneumatic tee and slide pipe for microwave sterilization. The project uses a belt drying and sterilizing machine. When the equipment is running, microwaves are generated by the generator and input into the heater through the energy feeding device.
    The material is sent to the heater by the transmission system. At this time, the moisture in the material evaporates under the action of microwave energy and is discharged from the outside of the heater through the dehumidification system to achieve the purpose of drying.
    At the same time, the bacteria in the material are killed by the thermal and biological effects generated by the microwave electromagnetic field, and the color and nutritional components of the material do not change. The continuous heating time of soybeans is 15.0min, and the maximum temperature reaches 120.0℃.
  6. Raw material crushing:
    After microwave drying and sterilization, the soybeans are lifted to a certain height by the elevator and then enter the crushing bin through the chute. The crushing bin is closed and fed to the crusher through the speed and feeding amount of the impeller feeder controlled by the frequency converter, and the crusher is crushed.
  7. Conditioning:
    The crushed material (soybean powder) enters the sedimentation chamber and is sealed and transported to the elevator by the closed air cage, and then sealed and transported to the puffing bin by the elevator to wait for conditioning. The extrusion silo is equipped with a cage, which transports the crushed material to the feeder in a sealed manner, and the feeder feeds the modulator.
    The extruded soybean production line In Turkey project uses a 2-layer double-axis stainless steel differential conditioner, and puts steam in proportion. The soybean powder is fully contacted, stirred, kneaded, and heated with steam in the conditioner. The conditioning time is about 5 minutes, and the temperature after conditioning can reach 85°C. Conditioning is a pretreatment before puffing.
  8. Extrusion:
    The tempered soybean powder automatically falls into the soybean puffer through the outlet at the end of the modulator. The soybean puffer is mainly composed of a power transmission device, an extrusion component, and a discharge cutting device.
    The tempered material is extruded in the soybean extruder by the power transmission device and the extrusion component, so that the temperature of the soybean powder in the extruder reaches 150°C and the pressure reaches 20 standard atmospheres, and then it is quickly extruded from the die hole.
    The soybean powder extruded from the die hole suddenly drops in pressure and temperature, resulting in puffing, and the volume generally increases by 2 times.
  9. Cooling:
    The temperature of the expanded material after the soybean extruder is discharged can generally reach 120℃. It is transported to the feed port of the flap cooler by a screw conveyor and enters the cooler box evenly through the air lock.
    The lower part of the cooler is equipped with a flap to cooperate with the level meter on the side wall of the cooler to control the thickness of the material layer. The upper part is equipped with an air outlet and a ventilator to exhaust air.
    The material falls from the upper part, and the wind flows upward from the mesh of the lower flap, thereby achieving the purpose of countercurrent cooling.
  10. Crushing:
    The cooled material is lifted to the crushing bin by the elevator to wait for crushing. The crushing quantitative conveyor is equipped with a feeding roller to feed the crusher evenly, and the cooled material is evenly crushed.
    The extruded soybean production line In Turkey project uses a double-roll crusher with a low crushing speed, and the crusher is fully enclosed for crushing, and no dust is generated during the crushing process.
  11. Packaging:
    The crushed material is transported to the elevator by the air lock cage, and then transported to the finished product silo by the elevator to wait for packaging.
    An automatic packaging scale and a bag sewing conveyor are installed under the finished product silo. After the packaging scale controls the packaging weight, the bag sewing conveyor sews and seals it. The entire packaging process is carried out in a closed state.
  12. Storage for sale:
    The packaged finished products are transported to the finished product area by forklifts for temporary storage and waiting to be sold.
