Introduction to raw and auxiliary materials:

• Straw: mainly wheat straw and corn straw, rich in cellulose, all straw comes from purchased dry straw (not aired or dried in the factory), with a moisture content of about 10%.
• Wood chips: mainly wood chips after processing, the main component is fiber, with a moisture content of about 10%. The wood chips used do not contain toxic and harmful substances such as glue and paint.

Capacity matching:

4 biomass pellet machines are set up, each with a capacity of 1~2t/h, taking 1.5t/h, and working 2400h per year (300 days, 8 hours per day). The maximum capacity is 4*1.5*2400=14400t/a＞10000t/a, which can meet the production needs of the project.

Brief description of the process flow:

1. Crushing:
   The raw materials are mainly wheat straw and corn straw. The purchased straw is all dried raw materials with a moisture content of less than 10%. To meet production needs, it is not dried in the factory area and no drying area is set up. The purchased crop straw is directly put into the crusher to crush each raw material into fibrous powder less than 5mm.
2. Mixing:
   Mix the purchased wood chips and crushed straw in a certain proportion.
3. Granulation:
   The mixed raw materials are transported to the wood straw biomass pellet machine by a belt conveyor. The materials are extruded into a cylindrical shape in the mold of the straw wood pellet mill, and the finished product is made by extrusion. The extrusion process is a physical process, without adding any adhesives and no chemical reaction.
4. Cooling and packaging:
   The biomass pellets pressed by the pellet press are naturally dried and cooled, and then transported to the silo by a pellet conveyor for packaging and storage.

General layout

The 4t/h straw pellet production line in Mexico project has clear functional zoning. The factory area is divided into different areas according to different uses. There are production areas (crushing area, granulation area), office area, raw material warehouse, and product warehouse.

The workshop is laid out according to the production process flow. The raw material warehouse is located on the east side of the factory area, the production area is located on the northwest side of the factory area, and the finished product area is located on the south side of the factory area.

The production area is located downwind of the perennial dominant wind, and the exhaust gas generated has little impact on the surrounding environment. The layout of each partition is neatly planned, which is convenient for internal and external traffic connections, as well as for the transportation of raw materials and finished products. The layout of the straw wood pellet plant is relatively reasonable.
