Bengal bamboo wood pellet production line process design

  1. Incoming materials:
    The raw materials purchased from outside the project are transported to the factory area by transport vehicles, and the raw materials are transported to the raw material storage site by belt conveyors for stacking. When in use, they are transported to the feeding port by forklifts for feeding.
    During the transportation of raw materials, environmentally friendly cloth is covered on the vehicles to reduce dust generated during transportation. The raw materials are stacked in a closed factory building to reduce the dust generated outside the factory building by the raw material stacking.
  2. Chipping/crushing:
    The raw materials in this biomass pellet plant project are mainly bamboo sawdust, shavings, sawdust, waste wood, etc. Large raw materials such as waste wood are transported to the wood chipper by forklifts to be crushed into fine materials, and then transported to the wood hammer mill crusher through a belt corridor for crushing.
    When processing waste wood, the feeding port for fine raw materials does not work. Small raw materials such as bamboo sawdust, shavings, sawdust, etc. are directly fed into the crusher after feeding and crushed into fine materials with a size of less than 9 mm.
  3. Screening:
    The crushed fine raw materials are transported to the screening machine through the belt corridor for screening, and the qualified crushed materials and the metal debris such as iron nails and iron wires in the original raw materials are screened out.
    The unqualified large-particle crushed materials are returned to the crushing process for re-crushing. The generated metal debris such as iron nails and iron wires are collected and sold outside.
  4. Drying:
    The bamboo wood pellet production line in Bengal project uses a biomass thermal oil furnace for heating. The thermal oil contacts the air through the heat exchanger to transfer heat, so that the air reaches the set temperature, thereby drying the powder.
    The thermal oil is circulated in the thermal oil system and replaced once a year. After the screening is completed, the material is transported to the boiler drum through the belt corridor. The drum ensures that the material is heated evenly. This process dries the material to a moisture content of 8%. The heating temperature of the project's biomass thermal oil furnace is 110℃, and the ignition point of wood is 250-260℃.
    A small amount of smoke will be generated in a high-temperature closed environment. However, due to the low furnace temperature and short heating time, the raw materials are not carbonized and no wood tar or wood vinegar is produced.
  5. Cooling:
    The temperature of the biomass raw materials after drying reaches 50~70℃ and needs to be cooled to room temperature. The dried biomass powder is transported to the drum dry material bin for cooling via a conveyor belt to ensure that the biomass particles remain dry and intact during the cooling process to achieve the molding effect. The dry material bin equipment is sealed and the cooling dust is not discharged.
  6. Granulation:
    The cooled biomass powder is transported to the pelletizing machine via a belt corridor for compression molding. The bamboo wood pellet mill machine is fed by its own feeding equipment. The biomass raw materials are sent to the feeding chamber of the pelletizing machine. Under the joint action of the distributor and the scraper, they are evenly spread on the ring die. Then the materials are continuously squeezed into the small holes of the die.
    The materials undergo molding and shape retention processes in the die holes. As the pressure inside the wood pelletizer increases, the pellets themselves deform and flow plastically, and generate a lot of heat under the action of friction, which causes the lignin contained in the raw materials to soften and increase the adhesive force. The softened lignin and the inherent cellulose in the biomass work together to gradually shape the biomass.
    After a certain period of time, it is extruded in a cylindrical shape. The rotating cutter cuts the material into a cylindrical shape and sends it out after discharging. This bamboo wood pellet production line in Bengal project does not heat the pelletizing process, does not add any adhesives, and does not undergo chemical reactions. It is completed only through physical extrusion.
  7. Packaging:
    The finished qualified products are sent to the pellet silo through the belt corridor for temporary storage, and then packaged by a baler. The finished bagged products are stored in the finished product warehouse.
