In 2023, Kazakhstan lifted the export restrictions on biomass pellet fuel. Biomass pellet fuel comes from sawdust waste generated by wood processing enterprises and was once banned from export by Kazakhstan. Previously, Kazakhstan banned the export of all wood products including biomass pellet fuel, except for coniferous wood sleepers required for railway and tram tracks.

It was based on this policy change that the Kazakhstan client of the project sent us a consultation and finally signed this biomass pellet fuel processing project. Wood straw pellet Production process design

  1. Chipping:
    Since the purchased crop straw, waste wood, garden waste and other biomass raw materials are large in size, they need to be crushed by a chicpper crusher (the length after processing is about 3-4cm), so that the biomass particle size becomes smaller and is convenient for extrusion granulation.
  2. Magnetic separation:
    The crushed mixture is sent to the magnetic suction shaft through a conveyor belt for magnetic suction.
  3. Crushing:
    The crushed raw materials are crushed by a biomass hammer mill crusher (the length after processing is about 1cm), and the crushed materials are sent to the pellet machine through a conveyor belt.
  4. Magnetic separation:
    The crushed raw materials are subjected to secondary magnetic suction by a large magnetic suction block above the conveyor belt.
  5. Pelletizing:
    The crushed mixture enters the wood straw pellet machine for extrusion granulation, and the powder is extruded into a columnar finished product.
  6. Finished product:
    During the extrusion granulation process by biomass pellet machine, the biomass generates a certain temperature, and enters the finished product warehouse after natural cooling on the conveyor belt, and is directly packaged in bags.

Water supply

The water for the straw wood pellet production line in Kazakhstan project is supplied by the local tap water department, with a water consumption of 72m3/a, mainly used for domestic water.

Drainage

The drainage of the construction project implements the "rainwater and sewage separation" system. Rainwater is collected and discharged into the local river; domestic sewage is pre-treated in the septic tank and then connected to the sewage treatment plant, and the tail water is discharged into the local river.

Power supply
