OVERVIEW

This project is located in Venezuela. The customer operates a timber mill. The project occupies an area within the timber mill. The customer invested 450,000 US dollars to build a new 8-12 tons per hour simple design biomass pellet production line construction project. The project will be formed into molded biomass pellet fuels by extruding the husks and straws produced by rice processing and the sawdust produced by wood processing. It is expected to produce 30,000 tons of molded biomass pellet fuels annually.

The biomass pellet fuel produced by this wood pellet production line in Venezuela project is a solid fuel that is extruded and molded from rice husks, straws produced by rice processing and wood chips produced by wood processing. It is easy to store, transport, and use, without any harmful additives, with high combustion efficiency and clean and environmentally friendly. It can be used for civilian purposes and can replace coal as industrial boiler fuel.

According to the customer's survey of the surrounding areas of the project, the surrounding areas can provide a large amount of straw and husk raw materials for the production of this project. After the project is completed and put into production, it will solve the recycling of waste materials such as husk waste, straw, and wood processing waste, increase employment opportunities, protect the environment, and promote local economic development.

After the completion of this project, 15 people will be deployed, with an annual working time of about 300 days and an 8-hour working system. Except for a small amount of cargo transportation at night, no crushing, pellet molding and other process production will be carried out.

Project construction content

The wood pellet equipment is built in the customer's existing wood factory. The wood pellet production line in Venezuela project covers an area of about 3,000m2. The buildings in the factory have been basically completed.

The main contents are raw material warehouses, processing areas, finished product warehouses, etc. The project construction content and scale are shown in the following table.

Venezuela wood biomass pellet Process design

  1. Raw materials
    The raw materials of the project are transported by car to the raw material yard for standby use. A certain amount of dust is generated during the transportation of raw materials.
  2. Crushing
    The collected sawdust/straw raw materials are sent to the crusher for crushing into a material particle size that meets the molding requirements of the biomass pellet mill.
    The crushed sawdust/straw raw materials directly enter the wood pelletizer for pellet molding. The husk raw materials of this project do not need to be crushed and can be directly entered into the biomass wood pellet mill for pellet molding.
  3. Granulation
    The husk and crushed sawdust/straw are conveyed to the wood pellet machine by belt conveyor. The biomass pellet machine presses the raw materials into pellet shape under high pressure.
  4. Natural cooling
    The temperature of the pressed biomass pellets is generally 40-50℃. When packaging, they need to be cooled. After being collected in the silo, they are naturally cooled and transported to the finished product yard for packaging.
    Unqualified products can be reused as raw materials, reprocessed, and recycled. The formed biomass fuel has a small volume, a high specific gravity, and is resistant to combustion, making it easy to store and transport.

Analysis of rationality of plane layout

According to the functional zoning of each site of this wood pellet production line in Venezuela project, the main construction content of the project is raw material warehouse, processing area, finished product warehouse, etc.

Among them, the raw material warehouse is located on the south side of the factory area, and the finished product warehouse is located on the north side of the factory area.

The doors of each warehouse are close to the access road, which is convenient for material transportation; the processing area is located on the west side of the warehouse, close to the inside of the factory area, and there is a small mountain barrier on the west side of the factory area, which can reduce the impact of various pollutants generated during the production process on the surrounding environment and residents.

Through the analysis of the plane layout of the factory area, the production process of this wood pellet production line in Venezuela project is relatively simple, the production layout is relatively reasonable, and the nodes for the generation of various pollutants are relatively concentrated, which is convenient for the factory area to carry out various pollution prevention and control measures.

There are certain blocking measures for each noise generation link, and through distance attenuation, it can ensure that the emission meets the standard. The roads in the factory area are relatively convenient, which is conducive to material transportation.
