The US Organic Fertilizer Production Plant With An Annual Output Of 50,000 Tons Officially Went Into Production

Recently, the annual output of 50,000 tons of organic fertilizer production line in Mississippi, USA, was officially put into production. The commissioning of the plant fills the gap in local organic fertilizer production.

On September 20, walking into the production workshop of the organic fertilizer plant, a complete set of organic fertilizer production equipment came into view. Accompanied by the roar of the machine, the production line was busy and orderly.

The production process of this project is to crush agricultural waste and cow dung in a certain proportion, and then ferment them. The fermentation is mainly high-temperature sterilization, generally 15 to 20 days. During the fermentation process, it is turned over once every three days or so when the temperature reaches 60 degrees. When the temperature reaches 50 degrees, the fermented finished product will be taken out of the pool for the next step of production.

The commissioning and operation of the organic fertilizer production plant plays an important role in solving and reducing the pollution problem of livestock and poultry manure in rural areas, reducing the use of chemical fertilizers, improving and enhancing soil fertility, realizing the recycling and sustainable development of agriculture and animal husbandry, and achieving agricultural efficiency and farmers' income.

The customer purchased organic fertilizer raw materials in June, including 4,500 tons of cow dung and 1,500 tons of agricultural waste, totaling 6,000 tons. All of them have been fermented, and it is expected to produce 50,000 tons of organic fertilizer annually. 

The total investment of the organic fertilizer production project is 880,000 US dollars, covering an area of ​​32.25 acres. It mainly builds a centralized agricultural waste treatment center with an annual processing capacity of 55,000 tons. Agricultural waste such as livestock and poultry, manure, straw, etc. are processed into organic fertilizer through aerobic fermentation and aging processes. After the equipment is put into operation, it will produce 50,000 tons of organic fertilizer annually, which will play a positive role in improving the local production environment.

Through the implementation of this project, it will promote local economic development, the local agricultural waste recycling rate will reach more than 60%, and the resource utilization rate of livestock and poultry manure will reach more than 50%, which can effectively improve and protect the ecological environment and promote high-quality development of agriculture and animal husbandry.
